Updated October 18, 2026. This disclosure describes the optional Social workspace operated by PodStreet, powered by The Podcaster’s Warehouse, and supplements our Privacy Policy.
What you connect and upload
Social is available as a standalone workspace or within a PodStreet website dashboard. A workspace can represent a podcast, brand, business or personal project; a website subscription is not required.
Each workspace has its own connected accounts, drafts, media and scheduling preferences. When you connect YouTube, PodStreet uses YouTube API Services to read your channel identity and, when you authorize a scheduled post, upload the selected video with its title, description and visibility settings. We store the selected channel ID and name, encrypted access and refresh credentials, uploaded media, planned content, authorization details, and delivery results.
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X connections store the selected profile, Page or account identity, granted permissions, and encrypted credentials separately for each workspace. Connecting an account does not itself publish anything. Publishing availability depends on each platform’s approval and the features enabled for your workspace. TikTok pilot posting sends the video, caption, visibility, interaction settings and commercial or AI disclosures you authorize to TikTok and checks delivery status.
How this information is used
We use connected-account information to show your destination, check access, maintain the connection and deliver posts you authorize. The scheduler refreshes credentials as necessary and sends selected content and settings to the destination platform you authorize. A draft or planned date alone does not authorize publication. PodStreet Social does not use Google user data for advertising, sell that data, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. PodStreet’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Sharing Google and YouTube user data
We share Google user data only as needed to provide the connection and publishing features you request: with Google and YouTube to identify your selected channel, refresh authorized access and upload your selected video and metadata; with the authorized members of your PodStreet Social workspace to display the selected channel and delivery results; and with our hosting and backup service providers that process stored data on our behalf to operate and recover the service. PodStreet administrators may access this information to operate the service and provide support. We may disclose information when required by applicable law. We do not sell Google user data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or send Google OAuth credentials to Meta, TikTok or X.
How we protect Google and YouTube data
PodStreet uses HTTPS to encrypt data in transit between your browser and PodStreet and between PodStreet and Google APIs. Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest on our servers and are not returned to your browser. Workspace authorization checks restrict access to connected-account data and private media. OAuth connection requests are bound to the signed-in user and workspace and use expiring, single-use state. Disconnecting removes the saved credentials for that workspace and invalidates its queued authorization. Media, drafts and delivery history are retained as described below; these controls do not mean every stored media file or backup is individually encrypted.
Storage and access
Media is stored outside the public web directory and served through workspace access checks. For an authorized TikTok, Facebook or Instagram delivery, a signed link allows the selected platform to retrieve that post’s selected media for up to one hour. The link is limited to that delivery and stops serving when delivery ends or the connection is revoked. Credentials are encrypted at rest. Authorized workspace members and PodStreet administrators can manage the workspace; hosting infrastructure processes the stored data to operate the service. We retain media, drafts and delivery history so you can manage your workspace. Archiving media hides it from the library but does not erase the stored file.
Your choices and deletion
You can disconnect an account in Social accounts. This removes its saved credentials from that workspace and prevents future queued uploads using the connection. An upload already started may finish. Disconnecting does not delete content already sent to a social platform or the workspace’s drafts and media. You can also revoke access in your Google account permissions and manage uploaded videos in YouTube Studio. TikTok, Meta and X access can also be revoked in those platforms’ connected-app settings; remove published content on the destination platform.
To request deletion of stored Social account data, media or delivery history, email PodStreet@ThePodcastersWarehouse.com with your workspace name. We verify that you are authorized to request deletion. Copies may remain in routine backups until those backups expire, or where retention is required for security or legal obligations.
Third-party services
YouTube’s handling of uploaded content is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. Using PodStreet’s YouTube integration also requires compliance with those terms. TikTok’s handling of content is governed by its Privacy Policy. Meta and X process authorized connection data under their respective privacy policies.
